YOUR TASKS
- You will be part of a dynamic Scrum team, actively sharing your knowledge, taking initiative and making suggestions for improvement.
- You take responsibility for our software product and are responsible for independently maintaining, expanding and improving the backbone of our platform.
- You find innovative solutions for the complex requirements of our customers and implement them with as little technical debt as possible.
- Your careful and pragmatic approach enables you to write clean, scalable and maintainable code.
- In doing so, you work with the latest technologies such as Java 17 and state-of-the-art cloud applications such as Google Container Engine and Google Compute Engine.
- You create and implement microservices in containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- You will work closely with our product owner on feature delivery.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or have a completed training as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d) or comparable. But also career changers with appropriate experience are welcome!
- You have excellent knowledge in backend development in Spring Boot and are familiar with aspects of performance and scalability of Java.
- You have experience in developing scalable and secure backend features.
- Your passion is programming and you are able to quickly learn new technologies.
- You are passionate about agile software development and you understand basic principles like Test Driven Development, Code Reviews and Continuous Delivery.
- Extra points? Knowledge of basic search engine concepts: Solr, Elasticsearch, big data processing and NoSQL.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
Fluent German is necessary
